Many of my Substack subscribers know that the audio of my video interviews is often broadcast on Just Right Media’s radio program, “Just Right.’ For those not familiar with our radio show, it began broadcasting in 2007 on CHRW 94.9FM Radio Western in London, Ontario. After our unceremonious cancellation (politics, yuck!), it continues to air on shortwave out of WBCQ Monticello, Maine, and Channel 292 Ingolstadt, Germany enjoying a large audience reaching from Siberia to Mexico.

My latest interview with People’s Party of Canada Leader, Maxime Bernier was incorporated in this week’s episode (our 801st), along with complimentary clips from podcasters Greg Wycliffe, Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson, Dan Dicks, and Mark Friesen.

Just Right’s host, Bob Metz does a masterful job at editing these clips into a seamless, entertaining one-hour production. His style is to open the show with a drama clip and end the program with a laugh. This episode is no different as he chose to open the show with a clip from an episode of the 1970s TV show “The Waltons” and end with a comedy clip from stand-up comedian Arthur Simeon. Fun fact: over the past 801 episodes, Bob has used 6,392 unique audio bytes from TV programs, movies, and fellow podcasters.

As always, Bob offers his own considered opinions and thoughts on the topic.

For those few of you who don’t have a shortwave radio (insert wry grin here) you can find all of our radio broadcasts on our website, Spotify, iTunes, Google Play and many other podcast platforms.

If you’re an old hand at DXing, you might enjoy deciphering this. And no, it doesn’t say, “Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.”
